HOW IT WORKS
Intro to Sewing Required
Before joining the After School Club, new students must first complete our Intro to Sewing Workshop for Kids. This prerequisite allows them to get comfortable with the sewing machine and basic techniques before committing to the club.
Monthly Membership
Please note that all monthly payments will be processed on the 15th of each month. If you are signing up part-way between payment dates, you will only be charged for the remaining days left in your monthly period and your child may start right away!
Term Structure
The club runs throughout the Alberta school year (September–June), with breaks built in around Winter, Spring, and Fall holidays. Each 6-week term includes one weekly class in our bright and cheerful studio.
WHAT STUDENTS WILL LEARN
Progress through levels 1–4, with each level designed to grow their skills and confidence.
Work on projects that teach new techniques while reinforcing what they’ve already learned.
Explore different types of fabrics and learn how to choose the right materials for each project.
Gain experience in garment making, patchwork, bags, appliqué, embroidery, hand sewing, and more.
Develop life skills such as problem-solving, patience, attention to detail, and creativity.
Students can pause and re-join the program anytime, simply continuing from where they left off.
CLASS REQUIREMENTS
Intro to Sewing Workshop for Kids must be completed before joining.
